Established in 1981, Hartville Meadows is a medical center that provides a range of health care services for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. It is a 32-plus-bed intermediate care facility that features a heated indoor swimming pool, bedrooms, bathrooms, and living, dining and activity rooms. The center offers 24-hour skilled nursing, psychiatric evaluation, psychological assessment, treatment planning, program management, training, and physical, occupational and speech therapy services. It additionally provides skills development, laundry and Internet access services, as well as organizes a variety of recreational and social activities. The center also offers transportation services for medical appointments, community outings, and church and resident vacations.
