Achievement Centers for Children is a nonprofit agency and is a center of support and expertise for children with various disabilities, such as physical, neurological, sensory and cognitive disability. Founded in 1940, the center provides therapies, education and child care programs, camping and recreation opportunities, autism programs and family support services. It offers several education programs, including its Child Development Center and Technical Assistance Program. Achievement Centers for Children s autism program provides schools, consultative services, training and workshops. The center s family support services include parent guidance, advocacy, support groups, crisis intervention and transition planning. It offers various therapists, including physical, occupational, speech and language therapists. The center s site includes gardens, an atrium, outdoor pavilion and multiple play areas.

For more than 100 years, the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging has worked to improve care for older adults and their caregivers. Benjamin Rose is an innovator in service delivery, a leader in research, and an advocate for older adults in Northeast Ohio and nationally. The main focus of Benjamin Rose is to assist older people and their families to live successfully in the community. The Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging assists older people and their families in through cooperative, community-based efforts. Our service, research, advocacy, and administrative divisions work together and individually to fulfill our mission of raising the standards of care for seniors.
