Dayton Bicycle Club
The Dayton Bicycle Club, located at 131 W 3rd St in downtown Dayton, is housed in a historic Victorian-style building known as the Edwin Smith House. Originally a private residence built in 1850, the house has survived decades of development and urban renewal, making it one of the few remaining mid-19th century homes in the area. The Dayton Bicycle Club, established in 1884, has evolved from a male-only bicycling organization into an exclusive business and philanthropy club. Despite the changes in the surrounding area, the club and its charming historic building continue to provide a glimpse into Dayton's past.Generated from the website
