Emmanuel Christian Assembly, formerly known as Christ for Today Church, is a ministry that has been serving the community of Barberton, Ohio since 1979. Originally focused on providing Christian fellowship and showcasing local music talent through their coffee houses, the ministry grew and merged with Lamb of God Church in 1982 to form Emmanuel Christian Assembly. Over the years, they expanded their reach by planting churches in Harrisonburg, Virginia and North Canton, Ohio, and forming a Ministry Team that provided guidance to various churches in Ohio, Virginia, and Indiana. In 2022, Emmanuel Christian Assembly made the decision to sell their assets and establish the ECA LEGACY FUND, dedicated to furthering the Kingdom of God through impactful ministries, financial support for pastors, and missions both locally and abroad.

The ECA LEGACY FUND, formed in 2022 by Emmanuel Christian Assembly, aims to leave a lasting legacy of faith by supporting well-established ministries with a history of integrity, providing seed money for new programs in established ministries, offering financial assistance to pastors, and contributing to both foreign and local missions. With a strong commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, the ECA LEGACY FUND seeks to make a significant impact and minister to the Body of Christ, ensuring the continuation of their mission beyond the physical presence of Emmanuel Christian Assembly in Barberton, Ohio.
