R&B Fabrications, Inc started out as a part time hobby 30 years ago in a one-car garage repairing canvas products and making custom boat tops Five years later we built our first building and started making cushions for Braun Industries custom ambulances and ventured into a line of bags for the horse industry and collars and lead straps for hunting dogs. In the late 1970's Ron took basic fire and EMS training and joined the Oakwood Volunteer Fire Department and Oakwood EMS. Dan, Ron's son, grew up in the business, the fire department and with the EMS. Upon graduating high school, he joined the company and took his fire and EMS training. At that time we saw an opportunity to develop a line of products relating to the fire, EMS and law enforcement fields. In pursuing the field we built two additional adjoining building to supply the demand. Ron and Dan's combined time in the fire and EMS give them the knowledge to design and manufacture the products our customers need. We learned early on that you can make a cheap product and deal with the consequences, or a good product to be proud of.
