Dalton Corporation provides gray-iron casting supplies for air conditioning, refrigeration, engines, gearboxes, stationary transmissions, heavy-duty truck transmissions and other applications. The company also manufactures machined components and operates two gray-iron foundries in Warsaw and Kendallville, Ind. It also has a machining facility in Stryker, Ohio. The foundries produce in excess of 200,000 tons of castings each year, which range from five to 600 pounds. Its operation in Warsaw, Ind., was established in 1910 with its first product being a home shoe repair kit. In 1992, Dalton Corporation expanded its business and customer base with the purchase of Newnam Manufacturing and further grew with the ownership of Stryker Machining five years later. Dalton Corporation was acquired by Neenah Foundry Corporation in 1998.

Founded in 1933, Powers and Sons is a full-service provider of steering linkage and suspension products. The company manufactures products for rack-and-pinion steering and conventional steering systems. It offers products of a wide variety of materials, including steel, aluminum and cast iron. Powers and Sons product line includes pitman arms for the passenger cars and light-, medium- and heavy-truck applications. Additionally, the company provides a wide range of suspension products, such as front- and rear-track bars and rear toe links for independent suspensions and steering arms. It also offers tie rod ends for rack-and-pinion applications and sleeve assemblies. Powers and Sons, in addition, supplies wheel-to-wheel linkage systems for light and medium trucks. The company is located in Montpelier, Ohio, and its capabilities include tapping, drilling, reaming, broaching, swaging, milling, thread rolling, welding and assembling.
