Dare to Defy Productions, now known as TheatreLab Dayton, was founded in 2014 with the mission to showcase the artistic talent of Dayton, OH through stunning works of art. With 38 musicals, cabarets, concerts, and collaborations under their belt, they have employed numerous local performers, creatives, and crew members, contributing to the growth of Dayton's art scene. Through their youth programs and affordable ticket prices, TheatreLab Dayton aims to teach and encourage the future of theatre while building a strong community.

TheatreLab Dayton relies on the support of volunteers who play a crucial role in the success of their productions, from costumes to sets. Donations are also vital to enriching the lives and culture of the Dayton region, supporting talented artists and funding essential resources for their shows.
