Mohamed Abdel Halim, MD, MSc, PhD, FRCSC, is a cardiac surgeon at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute and serves as Director of Cardiac Surgery at UH Elyria Medical Center. Dr. Abdel Halim has over 20 years of experience as a cardiac surgeon. His expertise spans all types of complex cardiac surgery, including structural heart disease surgery, valve reconstruction, the Ross procedure for aortic valve replacement, and complex aortic root and arch surgeries.

Sarah Eapen, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiac surgeon at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. Dr. Eapen’s expertise spans the surgical management of patients with aortic, coronary and valvular heart conditions. She has a special clinical interest in aortic surgery.
