As a psychiatrist and addiction medicine physician, I specialize in providing treatment to those suffering from addictive disorders, particularly those in need of inpatient stabilization or withdrawal management (detox). I work to be an advocate for patients, who often have had a negative experience with healthcare providers, by delivering high-quality care that is compassionate and patient-centered. I only use evidence-based addiction treatmen t The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I enjoy being part of a multidisciplinary team and working with those in other departments on creative solutions to the problems we face. I also enjoy working with medical students, residents and fellows and dedicate a significant portion of my time to educatio n my free time, I enjoy traveling, watching TV, and spending time with family, friends and pets.

As a psychiatrist, I'm passionate about helping children and adolescents with sleep and mood disorders. When it comes to patient care, I believe in helping patients as much as possible to overcome their struggles with sleep and mood disorder leep is critically important and there is a large overlap between sleep and mood disorders. My background in both pediatric mood disorders and sleep medicine allows me to best help my patients. I am one of the few physicians in the nation who is board certified in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry and sleep disorders medicin y favorite part about working at Ohio State are the patients that I have the opportunity to work with every da hen I'm not working, I enjoy spending my free time reading, watching movies, doing Pilates and Krav Maga.
