Cornell Abraxas

Among the Cornell Companies facilities is Cornell Abraxas Ohio, which specializes in juvenile services for delinquent or dependent males between the ages of 12-18. The 108-bed residential facility is located on an 80-acre suburban campus with a low ropes course, fishing pond and hiking trails. Key services offered include drug and alcohol counseling and education, comprehensive individualized assessment and treatment planning, individual and group counseling with a cognitive behavioral emphasis, GED preparation and testing as well as discharge and continuing care planning. Maintained in Shelby, Ohio, the center is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and is certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.
