Community Quilt Connection Inc. (CQCI) is a non-profit organization based in Harrison, OH. Founded by Mary E. Kaeser, CQCI aims to assist the community by providing quilts to children in need through charitable organizations. With a focus on promoting the technique of making 6 Hour Quilts, CQCI has been successful in encouraging individuals to learn and teach this skill, resulting in the creation of over 2500 quilts to date. Kaye Wood Inc., a quilting company, has been instrumental in supporting the LoveQuilt Connection, which is now celebrating its 15th year. Created by Kaye Wood, the LoveQuilt Connection encourages people to make 6 Hour Quilts that are then donated to children in need. Through this program, over 2500 quilts have been made, with many quilters spreading the technique to their own communities.
