Main Library offers a selection of print and electronic resources. It operates an audio visual division that has a collection of more than 120,000 DVDs, CDs, music recordings and audio books. The library maintains a center for discovery that provides books and audio materials for infants, toddlers and students. Main Library also offers books on history, biography, travel, geography and genealogy. It provides materials on various areas of humanities, fine arts and recreation. Additionally, the library offers books, magazines and newspapers on various topics, including sociology, finance, medicine, cooking and business news. Main Library has more than 100 computers with Internet access and a collection of electronic databases. The library hosts many children s programs and annual events. Located in Columbus, Ohio, it is a part of The Columbus Metropolitan Library, which operates several branches and has been serving the residents of central Ohio for more than 125 years.
