Columbus Fleet Management

The Fleet Management Division is a part of the Department of Finance and Management, which is governed by the City of Columbus in Ohio. The division provides fleet maintenance services and assists the city s departments and divisions in operating vehicles. It maintains motorized equipment for the police, fire and transportation divisions. The division offers vehicle utilization and replacement information. The Fleet Management Division also assists in coordinating the sale of surplus vehicles. The division develops, implements and promotes policies that govern the acquisition, maintenance, use and disposal of vehicles. It works with community partners and city agencies to promote technological developments and increase training opportunities for employees.
