Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon

Ms. Bush has served on the Flying Pig Marathon Board of Directors since its inception in 1998 and assumed the position of Executive Director in May 2002. Iris is a native Cincinnatian and has spent most of her career in broadcast. She was with WCPO for 17 years filling several roles in sales management and marketing at the stations. She joined WLWT in 2002 as Director of Marketing and brings her collective experience and contacts to this event. Ms. Hovey was involved in the Inaugural Flying Pig Marathon on a volunteer basis as the Registration Director. She then joined the marathon staff in June of 1999. Prior to joining the marathon, Denise was an instructor assistant at Sands Montessori for 11 years. After seeing the marathon from the operations side for several years, Denise decided to take up running and experience a race from the runner's side. She uses these experiences to keep the Flying Pig Marathon one of the top marathons in the country.
