Children's Lantern

Children's Lantern, founded in June 2011 by Tim and Jill Tracy, is a nonprofit organization based in Defiance, Ohio, dedicated to supporting foster, kinship, and adoptive families, as well as youth who have aged out of the foster care system and victims of human trafficking. Since its inception, the organization has expanded its reach to positively impact communities in six counties and internationally in countries such as Ethiopia, India, and Uganda.

In 2019, Children's Lantern focused its efforts on enhancing support for local families through various programs, including the Lantern Lofts Program, while also providing essential resources like clothing and school supplies. The organization emphasizes the importance of community and connection, creating a significant impact on the lives of many families in need.
