Char-Mar Ridge Park in Westerville Ohio - 128 acre park with a beautiful trail that winds up and down a ravine system with a meandering stream.A large pond features a wildlife blind where park visitors can view waterfowl, including great blue herons, green herons, and diving and dabbling ducks.Birds, including red-headed woodpeckers and Baltimore orioles, visit the feeders near the wildlife blind. Beavers and turtles also inhabit this pond. The park is home to Jefferson and small-mouthed salamanders.Along the Glacier Ridge Trail is a Natural Play Area. Here, kids of all ages can jump from stump to stump, enjoy a hut made of sticks.

Great 1.5 mile hiking trail. Very well kept! Bathrooms are superior!! Interact with wildlife in this densely wooded area. Absolutely love it

This is our favorite park. For all ages!!! It's a loop. Keep going. Nothing too scary for all ages!!! It's got a bird watching area and natural play area with a stream for throwing rocks!!!

Chat Mar has been a family favorite through the whole pandemic to go for leisurely hikes. The whole loop is 1.5 miles and the elevation gains are minimal through out. There is a pond as well...

Sandel Legacy Trail

Sandel Legacy Trail extends for 2/3 of a mile along a former railroad bed in the heart of the village of Sunbury. Walkers can see a variety of interesting plants they won't find elsewhere in Preservation Parks, including horsetail and common mullein. Watch for the catbirds, groundhogs and other wildlife as you enjoy this quiet gravel trail. Funding for the trail conversion was provided by a Nature Works grant. The Trailhouse, which was a former depot, was purchased in 2002. In 2011, Preservation Parks leased the Trailhouse to the Delaware County Model Railroaders.
