The Champaign Aviation Museum is in the active restoration of a WWII B-17 Flying Fortress bomber. The museum also has a fully restored and flying WWII B-25 Mitchell bomber. Visitors are able to see the active restoration and talk with volunteers working on the aircraft.

Very small aviation museum but very cool. About an hour from columbus. While we wete there they were putting together a plane. Very historical and free though we did do a donation.
