The Centre City Building, formerly known as the United Brethren Building, is a historic landmark located in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Designed by Charles Herby and built in 1904, it served as the headquarters for the Church of the United Brethren in Christ Christian denomination and later the Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Standing as Dayton's first skyscraper, the Centre City Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. Currently undergoing a $46 million renovation, the building will soon house residential apartments, office spaces, and retail shops, preserving its historical significance while adapting to modern needs.
