Centerville Historical Society
MVCCA Municipal Communications and Technology Organization is a council of governments that represents eight member cities in the Miami Valley region of Ohio, including Centerville, Germantown, Kettering, Miamisburg, Moraine, Oakwood, Springboro, and West Carrollton. Formed in 1975, MVCCA's primary focus is to monitor, regulate, and administer cable television franchise agreements, manage cable access television channels, and develop intergovernmental projects to enhance communication between member cities and their residents.
Funded through franchise fees paid by cable service providers, MVCCA utilizes these funds to support community access television activities, intergovernmental projects, and explore new technologies for the benefit of member communities. Governed by a policy-making body consisting of delegates from member cities, MVCCA provides various services to its communities at little or no cost.
