The Central Ohio Center for Pragmatic Buddhism, located in Columbus, OH, offers training and practice in various Buddhist meditation techniques, as well as community celebrations and events, to all individuals in Central Ohio. With a focus on diversity and inclusion, the center is passionately committed to providing a relevant and practical life plan based on the teachings of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, interpreted through the lens of Pragmatic philosophy.
Practice sessions are held on Sundays at 9:30 am, consisting of silent meditation, sutra readings, Dharma talks, and group discussions. Additionally, meditation and teaching sessions are available on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. The center also hosts Recovery Dharma meetings on Monday and Friday evenings, as well as Grove City Zen practice on Thursdays. With a newly established location, the center welcomes community groups in need of meeting spaces, offering a range of options to accommodate various needs.
