The caring professionals at The Counseling Center of Wayne and Holmes Counties provide comprehensive mental health services and therapy that include outpatient counseling, case management, psychiatric services including child and adolescent psychiatry, on-site pharmacy, 24/7 crisis intervention, walk-in crisis support and mobile response services for children to adults struggling with their mental health. With locations in Wooster, Millersburg, Orville and Rittman, since 1953, the goal of our private, not-for-profit mental health service is to make a difference in the lives of those who seek our care, and to promote positive behavioral health in the communities we serve. We offer services to more than 5,000 patients and families annually. Our highly trained team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, child psychologists, therapists, family therapists, social workers and counselors (including child counselors and teen counselors) has expanded to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, child behavior issues, relationship problems, grief and loss, job difficulties, addiction, sexual and physical abuse, suicide and stress-related disorders. We are proud to be the only provider in the area to be dispatched for mental health emergency services. For youth 21 and under experiencing significant behavioral or emotional distress, our Mobile Response and Stabilization Services MRSS is a specialized crisis service.
