As a urogynecologist, I specialize in treating pelvic floor disorders, urinary issues and pelvic organ prolapse. There are many different treatment options for pelvic floor disorders, all with their own sets of benefits and risks. I believe in shared decision making. My job is to help the patient choose the treatment option that is best for her. Oftentimes, I'm able to help patients achieve major improvements in their quality of life with relatively simple treatments. I love hearing about all the activities women are able to enjoy again once their symptoms improve. The best part about working at Ohio State is by far the people. Everyone on our team truly cares about our patients' experiences and well-being. Working in the medical field is often challenging, and having a great team makes all the difference! When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and cheering for my alma matter, the Georgia Bulldogs.
