Founded in response to the crack-cocaine epidemic of the 1980s, CADCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting communities to combat substance use and foster healthy, drug-free environments. With over 7,000 community coalitions spanning every U.S. state and territory and more than 28 countries, CADCA empowers its members to advocate for prevention and develop effective community initiatives.

CADCA provides extensive resources, training, and support to strengthen coalition efforts and enhance the sustainability of prevention programs. With a mission to create safer, healthier communities, CADCA has trained over 14,000 professionals, equipping them with the tools necessary to enact positive change in their communities.
