After long and distinguished careers as solo legal practitioners, the firm’s founding attorneys, Robert D. Bergman and Andrew Yiangou, decided to combine their resources and knowledge to establish the Columbus law firm of Bergman & Yiangou in 1998. These two attorneys worked together for over a decade on many legal matters prior to the firm’s official formation, providing affordable legal services to ordinary citizens in the Columbus, Ohio area, preferring to help people over corporations, government, and big business.
