Operational since 1956, United Rehabilitation Services offers support services for children and adults with disabilities and special needs. The organization specializes in providing physical, occupational and aquatic therapy, as well as speech pathology and vocational training programs. It also conducts workshops and summer camps to develop communication and social skills. In addition, United Rehabilitation Services offers rehabilitation, transitional employment and recreational programs. The organization assists disabled adults with personal care, grooming, housekeeping and meal preparation services. Its programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
