Bath Township Fire Department-Station 2

Established in 1950, Bath Fire Department is a private, nonprofit, Incident Response Service 501 organization governed and managed by an elected board of directors. Headquartered in Bath, Ohio, the department offers fire protection to more than 15 million-square-feet of residential and commercial properties in Akron and Summit County, Ohio., and under the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Insurance. The department employs more than 95 professional volunteer and career firefighters that offer an array of services, including emergency medical services, hazardous material operations, confined space rescue, vehicle extrication, cold water and high angle rescue. Its members participate in the Ohio Firefighter's Certification program and First Responder - Defibrillator program. It provides classroom and hands-on training, fire and Emergency Medical Service continuing education, biannual certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and annual surface ice rescue certification.
