Founded in 1915, the Musical Arts Association (MAA) is the parent organization of The Cleveland Orchestra, which is one of the leading symphonic ensembles worldwide. Established in 1918, The Cleveland Orchestra administers a variety of educational concerts, commercial recordings, radio broadcasts and imaginative programs. It maintains a youth chorus that raises awareness of choral music-making in the schools of northeastern Ohio, as well as encourages students to continue their choral activities through college and into adulthood.
