Art Climb, located at the corner of Gilbert Avenue and Eden Park Drive in Cincinnati, offers a unique art experience beyond just steps. Engaging with its historic surroundings, including Walnut Hills, Art Climb provides a new way for visitors to interact with art in a casual and recreational setting outside the museum walls.
Featuring three outdoor sculptures, including works from the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum's collection, Art Climb spans multiple flights of steps and landings, guiding visitors with a lighting component towards the museum. At the top, a large pavilion offers a city view, enhancing the overall experience.
Collaborating with Emersion Design and Human Nature for architecture and landscape design, Art Climb was constructed by Turner Construction with a focus on preserving trees. As visitors ascend and descend the stairs, caution and handrails are advised to ensure safety.
