The AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland, established in 1983, is the oldest and largest AIDS Service Organization (ASO) in Ohio, providing comprehensive social and medical services to nearly 1,000 clients living with HIV and prevention services to over 25,000 individuals at high risk of acquiring the virus. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, the organization aims to address the needs of those infected, affected, and at risk of HIV/AIDS in the Greater Cleveland region. As a leader in prevention, education, supportive services, and advocacy, the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland strives to reduce the impact of this highly preventable and now effectively treatable public health issue. Dr. Tangen is board certified in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Her special interests include neuropsychological assessment of the cognitive and behavioral outcomes of pediatric brain Injury, cochlear implantation in children, genetic disorders, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, epilepsy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and spina bifida. She was named to the medical staff of UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in 2006.
