Jenny is a physician assistant at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing as a provider since 1999 and at Akron Children’s since 2016. She earned her master’s degree from Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens in Brooklyn, N.Y. Jenny has a special interest in food allergies, asthma, contact dermatitis and immunotherapy. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she’s an affiliate faculty member in the Physician Assistant Program at Baldwin Wallace University.

I grew up in Jackson Township. I'm married and have two girls, 4 and 6 years old. My free time is spent enjoying my family. I earned my medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH, and completed my pediatrics residency at Akron Children's Hospital. I also completed a residency in emergency medicine at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. I am certified by and a member of the American Board of Pediatrics. I am also a member of the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Alicia Lowes is the director of the Turner Syndrome Center and a pediatric endocrinologist at Akron Children’s. Dr. Lowes earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania and completed her residency in internal medicine/pediatrics at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society, The Endocrine Society, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Big/Little Program and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine International Medical Society.
