We aren't your typical "drug rehab" program. In fact, at BrightView, we don't even use the term "rehab program." We are a comprehensive addiction treatment center in Akron, Ohio that provides outpatient treatment to patients battling drug or alcohol addiction. Our treatment approach for these diseases is effective because it is evidence-based. We include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual counseling, group therapy, social service support, as well as work on co-occurring disorders. We utilize an individualized approach in our treatment options to meet patients where they are.

Addiction Outreach Clinic (AOC) provides a unique outpatient, opioid addiction treatment program. Our program includes buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) medication-assisted treatment to prevent opioid/ heroin cravings and withdrawal symptoms combined with behavioral counseling to support our patients recovery.Dr. Nicholas Atanasoff founded AOC in 2007 as he saw the rising heroin and pain medication addiction epidemic and understood the need for a results-driven, realistic treatment approach that aligns with patients work schedules and family responsibilities. AOC has eight locations and provides a professional, caring and safe environment; to support and sustain successful opioid/heroin rehab and help them get their lives back.
