EMERGE Ministries was established in 1973 as an evangelical Christian mental health center. Located in Akron, Ohio, the organization provides confidential and outpatient mental health care services for individuals and families. It is an approved service provider for counselors, social workers and psychologists in Ohio. EMERGE Ministries offers assisstance to adolescents, children and adults with issues related to marital and family difficulties, school and employment adjustment, low self-esteem, childhood disorders, and feelings of frustration, anger and aggression. The organization s education department includes the Institute of Pastoral Counseling and conducts various seminars. EMERGE Ministries also provides internships for doctorate- and postgraduate-level counseling students.

Akron Treatment Services provides safe, medication-assisted treatment and counseling for adults struggling with addiction to opioids and painkillers. We offer medication-assisted treatment with Methadone and Buprenorphine/Suboxone coupled with traditional outpatient treatment services just 15 minutes south of downtown Akron, Ohio.
