Established in 1977, Wheels Inc had outgrown its old store in South Fargo 15 years ago. So Wayne did what he should have done years ago, he built a new store in a new location. Buying land along Interstate I-29, he found the best builder in the area. After contacting Polaris Industries for their input, and independent store design consultant, Barb Miller, they created not just a store, but a modern powersports destination.The new store opened November 1, 2004. The two-story building has 30, 000 sq. ft. It features a 10, 000 sq. ft. new vehicle showroom,and a 2, 500 sq. ft. pre-owned vehicle showroom. An indoor drive thru bay provides customers a heated and protected area for picking up new machines and dropping off vehicles for service or trades. "Customers love the drive-thru, especially in winter, " says Hartmann.
