Friendly, very good restaurant. Clean cabins. I came here for fishing and boating and am very positively surprised. Don't pass their nice resort by. I recommend highly. Do not pass this resort by.

Tobacco Gardens Resort & Marina, located 25 miles north of Watford City on the south shore of Lake Sakakawea, is a serene destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure. The resort offers a variety of activities, including camping, water sports, fishing, hiking, and hunting, all set against a breathtaking natural backdrop.
Rich in history, the name Tobacco Gardens is derived from the once-prevalent Kinnikinnick plant, traditionally used by Native Americans for trade. Visitors can explore the area's heritage through hikes in the nearby Little Missouri National Grasslands and along the historic Birnt Hills trail, famously traveled by Lewis and Clark.
