Securities Department

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is a full-service state agency that provides safety and security services to the residents of North Dakota. It provides protection to state buildings and facilities, conducts criminal investigations, and assists local law enforcement agencies. The agency s officers are responsible for the investigation and disposal of car accidents, debris, dead animals and other impediments to the free flow of traffic. The Facility Management Division works under the North Dakota Office of Management and Budget and was set up by the 1991 legislative assembly in the state of North Dakota. The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction also provides AIDS education classes. The department serves as an advocate for financial resources to support the public education. It enforces the state and federal government regulations pertaining to the maintenance of public schools. The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction additionally administers the Title I program. The department is responsible to ensure a uniform educational system that exceeds established standards. It offers several foreign language programs.
