Welcome to Security State Bank Website. I am Jeff Campbell, President and CEO. Let me tell you our story. Security State Bank was chartered on April 22, 1905 and still stands on the same corner in Dunseith it did then. As the third generation in my family to work here, the one constant continues to be providing the best financial services possible in meeting the ever-changing needs of our customers. In 1922, my grandfather, William Campbell, came to the Bank and was President until 1954. In 1953, my dad, Alan Campbell joined the Bank, and together they purchased controlling interest. Alan became President in 1974 and held that position until his retirement in 1994. I joined the Bank in 1981 and became Bank President in 1994. In 1996, we opened a location in Rolla and in 1997 purchased a branch of another bank in that community. In 2000, we moved into our new facility in Rolla, which allows us to better serve our customer base in that part of the market. As we continued to grow over the years, it became apparent to us that expansion is an important part of that growth strategy, so in the winter of 2007-08, we built a full service facility in Bottineau and moved in to that location in April of 2008. This location now gives our customer three locations along a 40-mile corridor of Highway 5 where they can do their banking.
