In 2012, I became a Founding and Certified Member of the John Maxwell Team. I was trained in coaching, speaking, and leadership by John Maxwell and his staff. For eight years I was the children's pastor at Prairie Heights Community Church in Fargo, ND. My job was to provide world-class environments for children to learn about faith and build friendships. My personal health and family life had been out of balance for years, but it finally caught up with me in 2018 when I had to resign from a job I loved and I was faced with the possibility of losing my wife. I finally admitted I had a problem and sought out the help I needed from Hopequest. While I'm not fixed, I'm a happier, healthier version of myself committed to growing each day and being at peace with my savior, Jesus Christ. My desire is to live in authentic community and add value to the people and companies God brings my way.
