CHI Oakes Hospital

Oakes Community Hospital is a nonprofit, 25-bed critical access hospital sponsored by Catholic Health Initiatives that provides selected health care services. As a provider of community-based, family-oriented health care, Oakes Community Hospital believes it can best maintain this level of service through a customer focus. This focus is enabled through effective communication systems, staff education, teambuilding, process improvement, work redesign and an empowered work force. Emergency care is always available in the hospital s Level IV trauma emergency department 24-hours-per-day, seven-days-per-week. Registered nurses are on-site at all times. Physicians, along with other support staff, are on-site or on-call to meet emergency needs. Its other patient care service departments include chemotherapy, home health, hospice care, intensive care and critical care, a medical surgical unit, obstetric department, post anesthesia recovery unit, sleep studies, surgical department and swing bed program.
