The ECU Diabetes and Obesity Center offers a range of advanced treatment solutions. The center offers medication, nutrition and exercise counseling services. Its diabetes course assists with foot care, stress reduction, travel and restaurant dining. The ECU Diabetes and Obesity Center s treatments are certified by the American Diabetes Association. It administers Winning with Diabetes, which is a day of programming provided at a low cost and includes experts from medical school and nursing and nutritional faculty. The program also includes blood pressure check and kidney, cholesterol, and eye and foot screening services. The ECU Diabetes and Obesity Center is a part of East Carolina University.
