Founded in 1974, Residential Services, also known as RSI, was one of the first organizations in North Carolina to provide community-based residential services. It is a private, nonprofit organization that offers support, case management and counseling services to individuals with developmental disabilities. It also provides health care, assessment and community involvement solutions. In addition, Residential Services offers financial management assistance services for residents. The organization maintains several supported living homes. Residential Services serves more than 100 adults and children. The organization administers the Community Vocational and Learning Services program, which is a vocational program that includes job search assistance and training-related services.
