Camp Lurecrest

Camp Lurecrest is a summer camp operated by Camp Lurecrest Ministries. It offers a variety of recreational and skills development opportunities at Lake Lure, which is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Its activities include chapel services, swimming, diving, fun games in the pool, volleyball, basketball, fooseball, Ping Pong, rope courses and wall climbing. Additionally, it offers swings, waterslides, pontoon boat rides, tubing, theme nights, special dinners, and lakeside campfires and cookouts. It organizes skits, multimedia presentations, worship services and Christ-centered messages from one of the camp pastors. The camp usually has 170 campers and a staff of 90 people. It provides bus transportation for campers from Charlotte, N.C.
