Western Highlands Network

Western Highlands Network provides services for cases related to mental health, substance abuse and development disabilities. It serves Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Transylvania and Yancey counties in North Carolina. The center has administration, service and consumer relations departments. Western Highlands Network maintains a consumer and family advisory committee that ensures the participation of consumers and families in development services. In addition, it publishes an online newsletter, as well as offers training, technical assistance and crisis management services. The center conducts an integrated care program and certified by Medicaid. Its staff includes technicians, clinical specialists and operation managers. Western Highlands Network is located in Asheville, N.C.
