Valdese Fire Department

The Valdese Fire Department is responsible for the protection of citizens from natural and man-made emergencies. The fire department provides emergency medical care and fire prevention, protection and educational services. The Valdese Fire Department comprises of paid and voluntary staff members. It provides 911, telecommunications and fire suppression services. The fire department specializes in responding to a variety of situations, such as chemical spills, industrial rescue, carbon monoxide investigations, and structure and vehicle fires. Additionally, it offers medical response services to individuals suffering from heart attacks, vehicle accidents and animal bites.
