Dalco Nonwovens

About Dalco Dalco Nonwovens opened its doors with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at 11: 00am. The family owned business manufactures materials for a diverse market that includes automotive, landfill, and furniture applications. Mark Evans is the president and represents the family in operating Dalco. Dalco Nonwovens is the brainchild of Mark Evans' late father, Dallas Evans. Dallas Evans started Cameo Fibers in 1982 and sold the business in 1996. He and his son Mark continued to work at Cameo, but Dallas dreamed of leaving a legacy to his family. He began working on starting a new business that he and Mark would operate together, and while working on this dream, Dallas passed away unexpectedly in 2001. Though Mark considered selling the business, he soon became determined to see his father's dream through, remembering that his father had often said that nothing worthwhile comes easy. Blessed by seeing his Dad's strong work ethic and respectful business dealings, Mark was able to model his actions after his father and turn obstacles into opportunity. Dalco began operations in January and employs 15 to 20 workers. By keeping his priorities in order God, family, business Mark Evans has completed the dream that he and his father started together. Though some may measure success by the bottom line, Mark Evans feels that is success is measured in living by the example that his father set for him. Regardless of what the future holds for Mark Evans and Dalco Nonwovens, the legacy that his father began will live on through Mark and his children. Dalco Nonwovens is a manufacturer of fabrics ranging in weights from 2osy to 20osy.
