The gallery was built in 1939 by Preacher Harry Potter. Accredited art teacher and fine artist, Sherry Thurston has been painting and teaching in her art gallery at Sneads Ferry for 40+ years. Call for appointments and see the gallery year round every Saturday. Newly restored from Hurricane Florence with an ocean scene on the inside floor painted with sea critters by her & her students! Ms Thurston does Paint for Fun classes-call to enroll 1-2 days ahead. Mornings 10 to 12 noon can be set other days. Afternoon hrs. Ask.
