Thrills From The Grill

History

Thrills from the Grill evolved from Epicurean Delights, which started in Atlanta in '91. In Atlanta, we were doing it all, big and small. Owners Belo and Margaret Shelton wanted to return to Belo's hometown of Durham. With partner Rod Evans (since moved on) and his wife, Kathy, started Thrills from the Grill, a special event caterer specializing in on-site preparation and excellent service. Belo created and researched hundreds of entrees; sides and salads; sauces, marinades, brines, and rubs; and desserts to come up with a variety of menus to fit most palates and budgets. Thrills from the Grill has continued to grow and diversify to met the needs of the Triangle's growth, demographics, and trends. Many of our ingredients are local and sustainable (we grow many of our own herbs, peppers, and tomatoes), and Thrills was an early advocate and user of environmentally friendly service ware. Our international clients love our innovative style and expressions of their cuisines.
