Youth Homes is a private, non-profit agency that has been providing residential and family strengthening services for children and families in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County since 1975. The group fosters the healthy development of children and families in need by offering comprehensive services, which support family preservation and reunification or seek permanency through alternative placements. YHI prevention services are provided to birth and adoptive families who are at high risk of having a child placed out-of-home. These programs are offered in a variety of settings: in-home, in-office or in multiple family groups - and may include education, counseling or case management services as needed.
