Thomas Kelso, MD

Dr. Michael Marushack practices at the Shallotte and Brunswick Forest Cutlar Crossing offices of EmergeOrtho. Dr. Marushack is a graduate of University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt lake City, UT. During his orthopedic residency, he spent two years doing research on bone metabolism and authored several basic science publications. After completion of his orthopedic residency at the Washington University School of Medicine, he finished a sports medicine fellowship in Birmingham, Alabama, specializing in the treatment of knees, shoulders and joint replacements. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the North Carolina Medical Society.

Dr. Rineer is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Rineer is affiliated with New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Dr. Rineer has a special interest in several procedures involving the hand and upper extremity, including: elbow arthroscopy; hand, wrist and elbow trauma; hand, wrist and elbow arthritis surgery; hand, wrist and elbow joint replacement; minimally invasive hand, wrist and elbow surgery; thumb CMC replacement; wrist arthroscopy; Xiaflex treatment for Dupuytren's contracture.

Eric J. Lescault, D.O., practices at the Wilmington Ashton Drive, Shallotte and Brunswick Forest Cutlar Crossing locations of EmergeOrtho. He graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Army, Dr. Lescault completed his orthopedic surgeon residency at Memorial Hospital in York, P.A., which included an affiliation with Johns Hopkins and Sinai Medical Center in Baltimore, Md. He continued his military service by providing orthopedic care at Womack Army Medical Center at Ft. Bragg, N.C., and proudly served as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
