We grew up with Woolworth's so we just had to give it a try to sit at this old fashioned soda fountain counter. The shakes were good (served in glass sundae goblets) but the food was just average....

The Soda Fountain is open and serving fabulous food! Step back in time. Not very crowded. Plenty of seating - and outside too. Then enjoy shopping when you're done.

Oozing with nostalgia this is not to be missed for a walk through for the true throwback AVL feel! The staff is super friendly and it's surrounded by a massive art gallery full of awesome items...
