It markets a suite of employee benefits products designed specifically for physicians and their staffs. Located in Raleigh, N.C., MMIC Agency sells and services various ancillary products, such as dental, life, short-term disability and long-term disability. Medical Mutual Insurance Company has grown and evolved since 1975 to include a number of wholly owned subsidiaries and strategic alliances. The Medical Mutual Group, the name used to define its collection of companies, includes Medical Mutual Insurance Company, as well as Medical Security Insurance Company and MMIC Agency.
